A couple books suggested for reading while waiting on FB

May 6, 2015, 4:06 PM

Season. " Sins of the Father" which enlightens us about how the Kennedy's have screwed the United States, FDR and others as well as must of his friends and Sons wives and girlfriends. Just finished the book today. You can find it online for $6.99. And if you want to read about the first women executed in old sparky Google the name Sue Logue. Former girlfriend on the late great Strom Thurmond. There are 2 books about her. 8 or 9 people died just because a mule kicked and killed a cow. Also there are a lot of interesting articles on the internet about Sue Logue and Storm Thrumond.

Both books were eye openers.

Ron Pauls Liberty Defined is pretty good so far...I am not

a Libertarian. I consider myself a right leaning moderate, which puts me in a weird place as I grew up a full fledged Republican, but starting to despise both established parties (and their reps). Anyway, his book has been a good read for the most part if you are in to political literature.

I had to get familiar with politics to understand this.

Anybody with one eye can see that our government is bread and circus. Every politician is progressive. They don't even take different roads to the same destination. They have the country so divided that no matter what 'my,' guy does it's OK. No matter what the 'other guy,' does it's wrong. No matter what the 'other side,' does or doesn't do there's chatter about something. That's the circus. Welfare and other social programs are the bread.

I fell into this delusion around the first year I joined Tnet. I ignore political debates now but reserve the right to take a cheap shot at Obama or Hillary just to get geechie's panties in a wad.
