1. He was completely sincere in those comments (not likely).

2. He is not part of the group of schools that is in serious talks with any other conference, or he knows they aren't interested in him.

3. He is channeling his inner Colorado AD who attended the PAC 12 media days, professing complete allegiance to the conference, then going home and announcing CU to PAC 12 just 2 or 3 days later.

I would expect nothing less from the Swofford cultists. UNC IS A FRIGGIN BASKETBALL SCHOOL . THEY SUCK AT FB. NC SCHOOLS IN ACC ARE BB SCHOOLS. THEY ARE LIVING OFF OF CLEMSON AND FSU.

Ha. UNC isn't leaving Duke behind IMO. There would be riots without 2 (Home and Home) UNC-Duke basketball games every season.
