A few questions...

Aug 31, 2014, 6:43 AM

1. What did we do in the offseason? Did we even lift?
2. Why did the million dollar OK not put any pressure on the Georgia D in the 3rd quarter? Running up the middle 3 times and out seems easy to defend.
3. Why can't a Dabo coached team just lose instead of getting embarrassed?

Not taking anything away from Georgia. It's a very good team, but the play calling in the 3rd quarter kept our defense on the field and helped turn it into a route. I can't blame Stoudt, although I agree that Watson should have stayed in the game after his first series.

The play calling was a joke in the 2nd half. Chad set them up for failure by not getting any pressure off of the OL or Qb.

ACC Football is in serious jeopardy at this time.

Thank goodness we aren't in the SEC, it doesn't look like ANY of the teams would be safe from relegation at this point.

1. Can't tell so FIRE BATSON

2. See answer #1

3. See answer 1&2

J/K but it's laugh or cry and I'm out of tears.

1. I dunno, I think UGAy was way deeper than any of us thought

2. I'm guessing as usual here. For some strange reason our game plan changed. We went from blow them out of the water to keep a safe distance from the fight. This was evident by the most conservative play calling we've seen in long time.

3. I like conservative play calling, you know, back in the day when we blew people off the line and gained four yards a clip? That means we tried to be conservative while running a HUNH/smashmouth spread. If asked to describe that with one word I'll go to the dictionary and find oxymoron to make sure I spelled it correctly.

Honestly, I don't know why we get blown out in games against people we out talent. Last night doesn't fit the profile of one of those games, imo.

yes, I'm in no way saying that we are more talented than UGA

Aug 31, 2014, 7:28 AM

or even question their talent. Just think there were other things we could've done.

I know field position had a lot to do with it, but still no excuse.

Once the ball got rolling, we couldn't stop it.

I don't mean to sound cliche but home field advantage

Aug 31, 2014, 7:34 AM

kinda took over there in the 3rd.

Stoudt was Winston-esque in the first but became hesitant & Georgia's ability to get first downs means, to me at least, that Georgia's front lines are simply stronger & more conditioned.

I don't think there's as big a gap talent wise in skill positions as people think.

Yes, our offense could have gone down in a blaze of glory. I don't know, maybe the score could have been worse.

My exact questions watching it

Aug 31, 2014, 7:50 AM

Maybe if the OL spent more time working out than growing beards and tweeting every 15 minutes.....

And to be WR U-- cant somebody grt open down the field and catch the ball.

Losing a game isnt end of world. Getting your ### handed to you is gonna leave a mark

This is the first time in years we dont have that guy on O.

Aug 31, 2014, 7:53 AM

We could always rely on Davis, Spiller, Sammy, or Hopkins to make a play. We always got the ball in our playmakers hands. Right now, someone has to step up and be that guy for us.
