The point of the post is: Biased media outlet covers up the wrongdoings of those who had attacked Trump.
One media entity (ABC) made sure to not reference the retired FBI agent’s involvement in another highly important criminal matter … e.g., the Trump / Russia hoax.
The other media entity (the nothing special Fox News) took a minute to provide additional context about McGonigal’s involvement in the Trump Russia hoax.
ABC News obviously tried to walk the tightrope by reporting that McGonical was arrested for criminal collusion with a Russian Oligarch … but dared not waiver from their pro-lefty / anti-non-lefty commitment to refrain from mentioning important facts that would be viewed of helping the ‘Trump’ cause.

I think you are confusing "attack Trump" with was given information that led to the early investigation of Trump. Trumpers seem to think that he deeds are never worthy of scrutiny.
It is pretty clear with what he was arrested for, the guy was illegally selling his influence. Lock him up. Nobody is protecting him. How often do the FBI arrest their own? Almost never.
Shouldn't you guys be praising the DOJ under Biden for the investigation and arrest?

All that is great, but the point of the post here is not whether McGonigal should or should not have been arrested.
The point is how two different media outlets can report the same basic story, but the more-lefty one (ABC) is careful to meticulously avoid mentioning another criminal activity from this same FBI agent.
The disreputable but not quite as lefty Fox News surprisingly did not follow ABC’s lead. This surprised me.
A analogy to this would be that 5 bodies were found buried under the crawl space of a mass murderer, but failing to mention that the same mass murderer had also been known to have killed two other people previously.
Refusing to report important news (McGonical was a key player in the staged Trump Russia hoax scheme) is just as deceitful as reporting disinformation (Trump colluded with Russians).

I see that the story itself (arrested FBI crook not investigated for his part in the Trump / Russia Hoax) is too embarrassing for your lefty buddies to acknowledge.
