Glad Chad is having the opportunity to exhibit good leadership and behavior with a program elsewhere. It's quite obvious that Dabo does look out for the best interests of the players on our team. I doubt we will ever hear any words of gratitude from Chad Kelly about how Dabo forced him to step up to the plate and be a man, but it comforts me to know that he was treated fairly by our program. Life is full of opportunities if you do not shut the door on them !
Always liked Chad when he was here. Hated to see him asked to leave, but a lot of things must have happened behind closed doors for Dabo to make that move. Chad seems to take the dismissal like a man...as far as I know he has never said anything derogatory about Clemson. He "bit the bullet" and moved on with his life and has done well. Glad he is getting this chance with a major program (hate that it is SEC team.) God knows we could have used him this year. In retrospect, given the choice between Watson and Kelly...I'll take Watson everytime....
