Places to eat - lunch & dinner? Only have 3 nights so I need to be selective. No further than Murrell’s Inlet.

Myrtle Beach? Let's see...you've got your McDonald's, KFC, and Dominoes. Don't know for a fact but I bet they have a QT. If you are in the mood for seafood, Captain D's.

It is a bit of a ride but that is where the best seafood restaurants are in my opinion. We also try to stay closer to there to cut the ride time down between there and MB and get out of the MB crowd.

Not food related but it's 3.5 hr drive to MB for me and I find the 3.5 trip much more enjoyable if I've consumed at least a 12 pack on the way(an Adderall or 2 for leveling-if you can find them) Be safe!

I have stayed away from Myrtle Beach for the last 12 years after vacationing there the previous 33 years. It had really become a place I didn't want my kids or grandkids! Hilton Head and Florida beaches are now our go to places!

Sea Captain's in MB can't be beat for seafood along with Sara J's. The Bistro in Pawley's Island is remarkable.

Everything on the menu at the Sea Captain’s House is good. That’s why it’s been in operation for sixty years.

For lunch:
1) Sea Captains House for seafood 2) Simply Southern Smokehouse for excellent country cooking and BBQ, plus the waiter sings good 3) Magnolia's at 26th street - good buffet for lunch plus the tea comes with it
Prices go way up at night in MB and surrounding area - eat out for lunch - at 2 and 3 you probably will not want much else to eat, as they are buffet with all you care to eat

Magnolia's on 26th ave on Ocean boulevard is great if you like southern cooking. It's buffet with shrimp, fish and other meats depending on the day.The owner has a large farm in Conway and grows the vegetables there.Peach cobbler is awesome.I eat there every time I go to Myrtle Beach

Right across Lake Arrowhead Road from Kroger. If you like steamed oysters theirs are very good. Usually large oysters so easy to shuck but not as tasty as clusters. Ask for them lightly steamed unless you like them really well done. Usually have oyster specials from 4-7 PM. Also oyster specials on Tuesday and maybe Sunday. Great fried shrimp and mahi fingers. They also have a location in Greenville.
We also like Crab Catchers in Little River but that’s a little further north. If the weather is good you can sit on the deck/dock right in the intercoastal. Sometimes the gnats are really bad outside though. Good seafood appetizers.

Anyone who doesn't like Captain George's or the Giant Crab are idiots. I absolutely hate Myrtle Beach, but the food is the best part. The food is way better than Charleston with its pretentious dog ####.
