ACC Crap

Oct 3, 2022, 1:36 PM

Hate that we are still stuck in this crappy conference and don’t get respect.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

And they keep putting Clemson on obscure television

channels at odd kick-off times (sarcasm).

They want Clemson to fail.

First off, if you listen to Coach Swinney you would know it's difficult to win at the college level in any conference.

Secondly, if you haven't noticed you had 4 teams in our division alone before this weekend that were unbeaten. FSU looks better than they've looked since ole crab legs and jim bob were there. Syracuse has a good chance at coming to the Valley unbeaten, and Nancy Stank doesn't have a bad resume at 4-1

The reason the ACC doesn't get the same national clout as the SEC simply has to do with the revenue their programs bring in. The SEC has more schools like USuCk that will fill their stadiums even if they have no chance at being a legit threat to any decent program.

Now Clemson is the exception to the typical ACC school. While FL St and Miami used to have packed houses that hasn't been the case in a while and the only school that seemed to do well in tv ratings as well as a great game day environment is Clemson. So naturally the TV pundits don't want to see us do well. We don't fit the narrative. But here at Clemson we don't mind the under dog role just put us in the dance and let us show you how to beat the best at 44-16!

When we go undefeated and make the Playoffs, you will change your tune. We need to stay in the ACC because we have plenty of money and are the top dog which we would never be somewhere else.

Well you are in the SEC. Head back on over there and talk about your team.

I'm admittedly "old school" having attended undergraduate and graduate school from 1970-1976, but I hope Clemson stays in the ACC and that some of the other member schools start to improve in terms of performance. Winning intersectional games would go along way to the national perception of the conference. Sadly, it appears that a big part of the problem is tied to the TV contracts - SEC and Big10 have great ones while the ACC's is awful. Hope they find a way to scrap that deal and put together a new one, as unlikely as that appears to be...
