ACC is back

Sep 5, 2022, 7:43 AM

When FSU is a top 10 team again, the noise about how Clemson's schedule sucks dies down some. Looks like FSU has a good team. Miami too. Clemson plays them both.

I'm just saying . . . if those 3 teams end up being top 10 teams, people gotta shut up about how weak the ACC is . . . Clemson, Miami, FSU is the perfect trio to have at the top . . . then you got the David Hale "tier 2 teams" like NC State and UNC.

Anyway . . . Clemson's schedule looks pretty meaty to me after watching some of these teams play.

And the schedule does have some meat.
Win out and we will be okay, even 1 loss and we are in the big party.

Let's start things out with a big win tonight. I want to see out offense execute... DJ hit some big passes and show some accuracy. Offensive line needs to dominate against a lesser team...
Then I'll feel better about our season goals.
Go Tigers!!!

I’m not sold one them yet they did a lot to lose that game and let a QB that couldn’t throw the ball that we’ll start picking them apart. I think both those teams are 6-7 win teams by seasons end.

Hoping they’re a little better than that***

Might want to pump the brakes but my assessment is the ACC has actually taken a step forward this year.

FSU, Miami, Pitt and Syracuse all look to have improved. I'd normally put Wake up there but with their QB situation, it's difficult to know just where they are.

In the 2nd tier, Nancy Tate (overrated) and UNCheat are about what we thought they'd be---2nd tier teams.

As for the rest, biggest under-achiever in my view is Louisville. They recruited very, very well and disappointed at the product they put on the field.

VT is a re-building project because they have not recruited well the last 3-4 cycles. BC is BC. Tough to recruit up there.

Screw Calford.

Loserville probably pretty decent

1st game on the road in the dome is tough. They ran into one of those games where babers syracuse team is randomly lights out. Who knows . . . Maybe cuse will have a good year this year

Just saying the way things looked this first weekend is kinda what you wanna see if you’re pulling for the acc to get it’s due cred and not be smeared in the media and by fans all the time. Big time brands looking like big time football teams with legit qb’s.

Norvell just has to be a little less dumb with some of those decisions in red zone
