Yes I know this is an obvious post. Those guys were horrible and the camera shots were as well. Sheesh. Qualk is much better. Just another poor effort from the ACC. I could barely stand it just watching the highlights. Where do they get these guys?

I have to agree and annoying as Qualk can be with the regular WCCP programming he does a good job with the baseball.

Selecting the announcers. So every ACCNX game is called by homers; some just hide it better than others

I keep score and have to agree. The opposing media people are lacking. I would love to listen to our broadcasts and watch on my iPad but when scoring it’s confusing when the game is running 3 pitches behind our broadcast.

Actually between the softball and baseball coverage, the Cards broadcast teams and camera work aren’t horrible. You will know that if you watch a Tarhole produced softball game, or anything from Syracuse. The Clemson staff is so far ahead of everyone else producing home game sports events. Even better than many of the SEC schools. Latest example the Georgia baseball game. Yes I’m biased but it’s impressive what Clemson employed staff produces considering how many students are involved (vs very experienced network crews).

I just hope the move to the P2 allows Clemson to further invest in sports production. The school could become a national leader for a degree in sports broadcasting (or whatever degrees fall within that umbrella).

I guess a journalism school at Clemson? Agreed I'll bet CU would produce a lot of talent. Interesting Jane Robelot was a Clemson grad but if I'm not mistaken she was an economic or business grad. She started out on the Tailgate radio Show and went all the way to the national level anchoring the CBS morning program.

Agreed. The announcers were "Homers" just like the home plate umpire. Another I noticed about the telecast Friday........every time they panned to a crowd shot, it looked like a scene from "One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest" especially that crowd behind home plate. It must have been a "Special Short Bus Persons Day" or either they had a mass escape from a local institution.

Doesn't the host school do the production when the game in on ACCNX? I've always thought that was the reason for the homer announcers.

I thought were quite good considering what we usually hear. The coverage was somewhat lacking, not nearly as good as Clemson, but way better than most in the ACC.
