After watching last nights game

It is clear that for Clemson to be elite again we need a new strategy and much improved recruiting in the offensive line. Sounds like we have the right coach, but he needs talent to work with. Washington looked alot like Clemson last night, unable to get the ball downfield consistently enough, and having to throw dangerous underneath passes because their QB was under so much pressure. Nevermind not being able to run the football. Hopefully Dabo has made this a priority by hiring Matt Luke, and OL recruiting improves, or ML convinces Dabo that it is alright to use the portal to improve.

you can still win NC's with a working mans QB, SOLID defense, and ball control.

Yes, but that's a problem for us . . .

because Dabo, for all his many positive attributes and strengths as a program leader, lacks (d)amn near every instinct necessary to execute a ball control offense effectively. Ball control necessitates good game management skills, which we have been incredibly horrible at during Dabo's entire tenure.

Ball control typically means something a bit different . . .

Ball control typically means keeping the ball for long periods of time, milking or controlling the clock, minimizing your opponent's number of possessions and time of possession, and by so doing maximizing the effect of your own scores, and so forth. That's what I thought you meant.
But of course, yes, winning the turnover battle matters too. Always.

Yes, but Michigan's defense was elite ranked #1, the running game was very good as well as coaching. Harbaugh ditched the West Coast offense for a more physical game rushing attack. Their OL and coaching are so much better than Clemson's right now. UM was not good in 2020, 2-4 in a shortened Big 10-12 season. Remember Dabo complaining about OSU getting in the CFP? TL and Clemson got smoked by OSU. That began the slide from elite to good.

it can be made SO MUCH EASIER if you improve the OL. Why rely on those three groups hoping they pull up a weaker link. Make the OL elite. That is doable at CLEM.
If you truly believe that championship teams are built from the inside out......

Michigan was not built from the portal...Harbaugh wants to coach up his own players...how many of his players took a powder...only the injun with much wampum...go out and buy a used team...FSU has a poor self image down deep...the can't find em, attract em,or coach em so they just go steal them from someone else...the new reality is Seminole raids on someone's football team...Harbaugh should give them back their sign..`Eat at Injun Joe's Bar & Grill Best horsemeat in Tallahassee`..poor horse!

It should be noted that the Washington Oline was the Joe Moore award recipient this season as the top Oline. They got pushed around last night but are leagues ahead of the Tigers Oline. That Michigan Dline and their LBs are very talented and physical. The Wolverines were the better team in trenches most of the night.

Recruiting is probably 99% over this year so we will work harder and play the hand we have next year. Getting to the top is much harder than it ever has been but you are spot on as any offense is only as good as their O line.
