Here's my issue with what Dabo said

For the most part I agree with every thing he said. I think he should have just answered the question, which he did, and left it at that. I think trying to explain that black people have it made of course isn't going to go over well because there absolutely is a lot of work to do in this country as far as race.

The biggest issue I have is that Dabo lectured on not being a distraction while setting himself now as being a huge distraction for this team in the middle of a national championship run.

Comment, move on and win games. That's your job. Leave the political analysis bs to the political bs'ers.

part of being a nationally elite program means that every word is going to get picked apart. I mean, I listened to Michael Smith and Jemele Hill get one step short of calling him a racist. We all know that is not the case. In fact, Hill even said she didn't know he was asked the question which underscores that people are taking things out of context. But answering these questions in the world we live in today is a no win situation.

Respectfully disagree.

Dabo is great because of who he is. If you just want him to keep his mouth shut- that's not who he is.

As it pertains to this issue- kappy and BLM wanted to start a conversation.... Be careful what you ask for. I have little sympathy for ANYONE who asks for an opinion and doesn't like the response.

He wasn't a distraction. He answered a question. Media made it a "distraction". It's not like he intentionally decided to make a spectacle of himself by doing the exact opposite of everyone else and sit durring the national anthem or something.....
