Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.


We’ll have to beat somebody a third time regardless.

It’s always seemed odd to me that handling a team twice makes it seem more likely that you would lose the next time.

Seems like it should produce the exact opposite mind-set.

But as a Clemson basketball fan, I totally understand the lack of confidence and the anxiety.

It’s very much like we really don’t really believe we deserve to be that much better than another ACC team.

The last time it happened was 2020-21. Had to beat Miami for a 3rd time, was one and done.

Then 1 week later was one and done again after losing to an inferior Rutgers team. It was at this point I was done with Brownell.

Whoever wins means facing a team we beat twice. As a matter of fact, we struggled to beat Va. Tech much more than NC State.

True but we played NCSU more recently and I’m sure that 25 point beating didn’t sit well with the team or coaches.

It would also be playing vt on their 3rd game in 3 days. Ncsu will be more fresh. And if they crush VT, they might come in real confident.

Let's hope for a close OT win by VT
