Insurance companies!

So I called in my claim to his insurance company today (Allstate) and they set up an appointment with an adjustor for tomorrow. Then I run into a problem. When I ask them what the procedure was for getting a rental car they said "We have to confirm with our insured what happened and then you can get a rental." I asked them if I could go ahead and get one now and reimburse me. They said "No, we won't pay for it until it's approved." So now I'm stuck driving around Greenville in a car that looks totally ghetto.
I hate insurance companies.

Farm Bureau just cancelled my household policy due to "Possible Catastrophic Wind Damage". I changed auto insurance 6 months ago and saved $500 a year. They didn't like that so they cancelled me. Ironically, a wind storm blew an oak limb down on top of my boat shed and they had to write a check for $3,100 ten days before cancellation date. Karma is an unbelievable thing. Insurance companies are as corrupt as politicians.

Riding around Greenville in a ghetto looking car is much better than walking around Greenville in this heat. But, I'm with Nation Wide, and a rental is auto if any of my vehicles are towed in to any garage from an accident. My fault, their fault, anybodies fault!!! But I have been with NW for 35 years!!!

I have a racist cousin that sold his soul to the Insurance devil. That guy goes on more freaking trips abroad than anyone I know. All of the insurance companies make excessive profits. The "accident forgiveness" is a huge crock! They up your rates because they know you are accident prone so you are paying more every month. When you do need to report a claim guess what your rates sky rocket. Such a crock of crap.
Let's say a tornado came and blew your part of your house away. The agent would say well sir....did you know that your policy only covers winds up to 85 m.p.h and that the weather service on that day reported winds up to 125 m.p.h. Also your policy only covered wind gusts from the Northeast. The wind actually came from the Southwest....You should have had those additional coverages..
Me to agent...FFFFFFFF UUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
