ECU baseball coach

Cliff Goodwin has put together a strong program in the 6 years he has been there. He has done it with much less than Clemson has available as well. ECU has always had a good program but they are definitely overachieving

I would imagine he would at least listen to what Clemson would offer.

Three super regionals since Clemson went to one last.

I don’t even think Clemson is that much better of a job these days.

and if that is case and the program has dropped below East Carolina's then that is absolute sad

Fire Monte and get a coach to start rebuilding our program. It's going to take some time. If we wait we won't be able to get a decent coach. DRad is completely missing the boat on this one. At least Brownell didn't screw up our basketball program... it was never a great program anyway. He has kept status quo. Monte has done a bad job and is doing worse with each new year.

so last year when we were 14-3 before covid does not count i guess. that team had a stud pitching staff, 3 of whom that were drafted. no one likes what happened this year, it sucked terribly, but these short term memories are good for no one. if things do not get better it will work itself out.

He will finish his career there. He’s alumni and has a great thing going at ECU

Also, Eastern NC has really good baseball so he has good recruiting base***
