Any chance that we'll have two 1,000 yard rushers this year?

I know that we have an embarrassment of riches at WR for TL to throw to this season. But I am getting McFadden/Felix Jones vibes from this ETN/Lyn-J tandem that we're going to unleash. Both guys can legitimately go the distance at any spot on the field and they'll be running behind a solid o-Line (could potentially be better than last year). Also, let's not forget that our WR's are pretty #### good at blocking as well. I guess it is just a matter of if they will have the opportunity to hit the mark due to blowouts and playing the younger guys.

I think your vibe is off. If either Ladson or Ngata live up to the hype, there is no chance LJD will get enough carries for 1,000 yards. If both are legit...
I remember McFadden and Jones very well. Probably the only time I ever gave a care about Arkansas for any reason whatsoever. They didn't have near the passing attack you will see this coming season.
The ONE factor that could swing things in your favor is blowouts. If the defense is good enough, there may be several games that allow both TL and ETN to sit out most or all of 4th quarters. The offense is more likely to run the ball and LJD will have ample opportunity to clean up.

We have other backs that will clean up late.

Since I expect this offense to go 300 passing/300 rushing in most games, I don't see why not. That's 3600 passing and 3600 rushing yards over the course of the regular season.

Maybe/likely. I don't get the McFadden/Jones vibe but rather something different. If we get two 1000 yard-ers then something happened to ETN.
One, I think offensive output will be a lot higher, especially early in the season while the defense gels a bit more. It might be more necessity than anything and the games are going to feel more like the DW4 championship years with us exploding with points and then trying to hold onto the lead. Still, JS and TE do not really sit on possession football until you have about a 28 point lead.
Still, I think we will try and shorten the game at times with more of a lean on the run game and ETN. He may get a crack at 2000 yards as all he needs there is 250 carries based on last years average. Those 50 or so touches will likely be from the touches that would have gone to Feaster etc in the second half. As for the LJD and others, I think they will spread the load and all will kinda get the 70-100 touches again. Maybe a bit more for LJD but he will need to out gain ETN per rush significantly with only 100 touches. Maybe LJD can get to 150 touches (about what is needed), but a lot of his production was against Wake and Loserville so his stats last year are a bit misleading. He will do well but since his touches will be against other better, 1st team opponents, I expect his ypc to drop to the 6-7ypc range which he will need the 150 if not 175 carries. I just think that the coaches will spread the wealth so LDJ will see both fewer overall touches and more touches against the first team... so his stats will drop slightly.

ETN could get to 2,000, but I'm not sure it's as simple as getting 50 more carries from last year. He averaged over 8 yards per carry last season which will be hard to repeat. I'm not doubting his skill, and he may very well hit that average again this season, but that's a really high number to assume someone will hit. If he got 50 more carries from last year and averaged 7 YPC which is still ridiculous then he'd be at just under 1,800 yards. Again, I'm not saying he won't do any of that, but it's certainly not a given.

I actually think his YPC might increase as teams are forced drop LBs to defend against the pass.
Early on ETN opened up TL16 ability to pass effectively by making defenses stack the box, thus Tee and Justyn started to eat corners up alive in space, but it took a while. Expect more LB drop in the flat/middle which will give ETN more channels for bigger chunks of yards (if maybe fewer long TDs). If a DC is going to pick their poison, I bet they pick to hope to bottle TL up more and hope that our D isn't as good on locking games down.
Is 50 carries a bit high. Yes, I think it will be around 200 again. But I don't see LJD or anyone else picking up all the carries that Feaster or Choice had and I expect 2019 to have more running plays later in games as we compress the game... thus when defenses are hopefully tired and we can break a few more chunks.

gonna be tough. But, both those guys have breakaway speed, so if they crack off enough long runs, it is possible. Probable, in fact. The LEAST number of games we will play is 13. So, to hit the 1000 yard mark, they only have to average just under 77 yards per game. Doesn't sound so difficult when you break it down like that. If we play in the max 15 games, only requires ~67 YPG.
