a closer game than Wofford, but keep in mind we played about as vanilla a humanly possible against Wofford. We pretty much just lined up and ran a bunch of basic plays and ran straight ahead, right over them. We showed absolutely nothing on offense or defense, and we have plenty in the bag left for App State. I think we are fully capable of blowing App State out, but we will still be holding back some, showing as little as possible in order to get the win. Sure, if we screw around, turn the ball over and play uninspired, it could be ugly; but if we show up prepared and ready to go like we were against Wofford, we win handily. Don't sweat it.

No worries.. we got this..It's App St. Another good week to get some players playing experience and use tot he speed of the game.. It is why these teams are scheduled.

The one thing I really enjoyed about last week's game was the coaches rotating the starters and 2nd stringers in the first half when we were only winning by 2tds(yes it was Wofford,but still). Instead of doing the usual mop up duty at the end of the game the 2nd and 3rd stringers were allowed to go out and run the playbook. Great practice.

yea but I want to see us up by 3-4 TD's before Schuessler comes in this week. I am not a fan of scoring on your first 2 possessions and then breaking up the rhythm by bringing in the back up so early. I don't mind it midway the 2nd quarter, but in the first quarter is too soon in my opinion.
