cell phones it would be impossible to prevent any form of camera anyway, but they've always been permitted

I bring my point-and-shoot to about half the games; a friend of mine brings his professional-grade SLR/DSLR camera occasionally and never has a problem with it. Sometimes security wants to search his camera bag, that's about the worst of it.
