Are the salad days in recruiting over?

In my opinion, seeing some of these kids pick the ‘other’ school when it down to Clemson and whomever is a mystery. N.C. FRICKING State. Come on, man! To play for ‘Laptop’ Doeren.

Clemson is waiting on Andrew Booth and every CB knows Clemson’s intentions. So it wasn’t that he choose state over Clemson it’s Clemson choose Booth over him.

Clemson was taking Booth regardless of Battle. Battle was more likely to get his spot taking by Hill if offered or Bush if we pushed.

lose a recruit to that armpit of a campus in NC State. There idea of a great season is to finish with only four losses! They will throw a freakin' parade over a four loss team!! We lose four and we're devastated!! I'll say it again. We should NEVER lose a battle to the pathetic Wolfpeckers!!!

then we didn't lose him. He chose the only other thing that suited him. We are waiting on Booth who may commit at the cookout.

MAYBE SOME KIDS WANT TO GO SOMEWHERE THEY CAN PLAY RIGHT AWAY. WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET EVERY KID WE OFFER. AND I CANT FIGURE OUT THE CONCERN FOR OUR SECONDARY. WE HAVE MANY STUDS BACK THERE. HE!! WITH OUR FRONT 7 THEY COULD PLAY BACK THERE IN WHEELCHAIRS. FIND ANOTHER CONCERN. IS IT A CONCERN BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AS HIGHLY RATED AS OUR FRONT 7

I posted earlier this year that our recruiting window is not as wide open as it was. Bama is still bama, Kirby is machine at Uga, Florida and Tennessee will benefit from the new coach bump, and 9 wins give optimism to programs like SUC and NCST....can you remember the last time SUC AND Ncst beat us out on DL recruits? Or when we competed w UF/UT? all we can do is make hay now w the studs we have...I feel next yr class will be epic! And quite frankly, Dabo has never had a class to sneeze at!

I used to get bent out of shape on things like this but now I know it just wasn't meant to be for THEM to be a part of our great Institution. We good.......Plus it's a long way from December and you know how these kids are. They change their minds like apps on a phone.

Remember Rashan Gary?

He chose Michigan and I was frustrated but looking back, he hasn’t been “all that.” Our coaches are the best at developing both man and player and it shows. We’ll be fine, I’m sure of it! So, go to Zaxbys and get the “Zensation” salad and enjoy because the “salad days” continue!

Gary as an extra would have been fine, but we ended up with the best... by far. I'd take Huggins over Gary right now. This season will prove that out...

This is a situation I hope we get used to for many years to come. You have to understand, Clemson is the "it" school right now. Kids who have no intention of coming here want a Clemson offer because it signals they are a top recruit that has arrived. When someone can pick their school of choice over Clemson it carries more weight than a choice over UConn. Our coaches know who they really want and who really wants to be here. Trust the process.
Look at the number of kids who choose a school and still have a Bama or OSU hat on the table. It makes for good publicity and a better commitment.

Let’s see where we are in December and February. I remember people on here panicking last year until we landed Jackson Carman, Mario Goodrich, and KJ Henry.
My hunch is that we will finish strong.
