If USC wins out and beats ND I think it's really difficult to take Clemson ahead of them.

IMO we still need USC or TCU to lose.

FPI is giving both USC and TCU a 1/3 chance of winning out. That does look good for us, but it's far from impossible that neither lose.

And it's only got us at roughly 50/50 to beat both Carolinas.

That basically means:

50% of the time we lose and eliminate ourselves
11% of the time TCU and USC win out and get selected ahead of us
The rest of the time we win out and make the CFP

That's also assuming their aren't other complications. We don't want LSU beating Georgia. I also don't think we want Michigan to beat OSU. Not sure 11-1 OSU would get picked ahead of us, but I know Michigan wouldn't.

I've watched TCU barely win too many times and I don't think USC gets past ND (Not to mention they've already lost to Utah). Could they both win out? Yes, but like you said...11% chance.

Trojans playing at home.

ND barely beats Navy. Navy pass defense/offense is ranked outside the top 100.

I think the Trojans know (particularly after what happened to Clemson) their ND game will be THEIR CFP PLAY-IN, unlike Clemson understanding that their ND game was the Tiger’s CFP PLAY-IN GAME.

We still need USC or TCU to lose, but if either one of those happen and we win out we should be in the playoffs.

It would have been great if TCU/Michigan/USC lost yesterday but UT losing is probably better overall.

UNC ######## the bed didn't help but it didn't hurt that much.

Overall, we're in MUCH better shape today than we were before Saturday.
