17-0 start to the season...We lost 10 of our last 14, yeah, you read that right...started 17-0 and finished 21-10 before our run in the NIT...But hey, what an exciting style of basketball huh?

In 1953 Brad Brownell led us to a 70-95 defeat in our final game of the season to upstate rival Furman. It was then that his goal of “lose the closer” was established.
