It's easy and doesn't cost anything. I never post anything on there but I've had an account since 2012 so I can read tweets, follow people, etc.

Personally I spend very little time on there, but I still find it helpful to have an account when people post links to tweets on other sites.

Personally, I'm delighted because I hate twitter, facebook, instagram and most other internet social gatherings. Tnet gets me by just fine.
