Interesting article. But, as I said before, the commissioner ain't gonna do nothing without the president's approval. Here is the telling quote from the article.

Nothing will end up happening this year. There is too much at stake for the B1G and the playoffs. Say they ban them from post-season and then beat O31O, the B1G is then left out of the playoffs and millions of dollars left on the table. They'll leave it to the NCAA and in 2-3 years something will come of it.
