So we have been told for decades that gas is clean. But, now we are told gas is or appears to be linked to bad things.
Whatever the truth is, of course, the democrats are finding victims they can save:
"Sen. Corey Booker and Sen. Elizabeth Warren argued that Black, Latino and low-income households are more likely to be affected by these adverse reactions, because they are either more likely to live near a waste incinerator or coal ash site or are in a home with poor ventilation."

Use their buddies in academia, racism, and anything else to push an agenda.
I promise that they will use this comment to ban guns: “Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned,” agency commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. told Bloomberg.

Yes, inch-by-inch, day-by-day...the march is slow, but it is in a consistent direction. Not sure why so many people can't see it.

From your own link.
"A December 2022 study in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health found that indoor gas stove usage is associated with an increased risk of current asthma among children. The study found that almost 13% of current childhood asthma in the US is attributable to gas stove use."
Yet, you are triggered.

From your link.
"The AGA has previously pushed back against Trumka's comments, saying that the emissions from cooking with gas are similar to emissions created when cooking with electric stoves and that they plan on submitting evidence to prove it."

Thats odd since gas stoves are a high end home feature these days and have been for a long time. I'm sure all these rich white liberals have gas stoves and almost zero poor minority homes have them. But, hey, "science" so ####.

More like units that cost more than $5000 will be exempt. The libs love taking away options for others that they keep for themselves. Got to keep the scummy poor people and their crappy electric stoves in their place, for their own good of course.

Stupid ideas from stupid people who are unforutnately put in

positions to make our lives miserable - especially through the regulatory state.
This most recent push to ban natural gas at the Federal level is just a continuation of a climate change narrative started in California. A couple of months ago the nutcases out in California moved to ban natural gas heaters, water heaters, and stoves in new construction by 2030 - all in the name of their climate change religion. Not to be outdone, NY's idiot in chief (Katherine Hochul) is now proposing the same thing. If these morons get their way with these natural gas bans they are going to set the stage for crashing their own electrical grids in the future.
Not to be outdone by stupid State ideas, the climate change worshipers in our Federal Government are looking, through whatever means, to get in on the action of exorcising the latest declared demon of the climate change religion - natural gas.
Remember boys and girls - elections have consequences and if you elect stupid people you get stupid governance...

Warren and Booker - double dumb. I have an idea. If you don't want a gas stove, don't buy one.
