Liked Bates. I think he’s a decent position coach. But please let’s not think we lost some super star. He failed to bring in a single DLine recruit this year. Personally our DLine development was at its peak with Hobby and Brooks. Miss those guys. I totally trust Dabo to either promote or go find a decent DLine coach out on the market that can at least equal with Bates brought to the table. I’m actually hoping for an upgrade.

I agree. Clemson football is not going to go down in flames. We are in a good place. I just don't understand the whole world is going to come to an end because coaches move on and try to better themselves and other programs in the process.
