Lots of ND alumni in California, assuming he wants to move back after college. Their WRs weren't great this year either, so he might see more playing time there next year than he would at Clemson.

He was going to get plenty of PT with us next year.
ND is allegedly the pending destination for star Duke QB Riley Leonard via the portal.
Collins, if he ends up at ND, has excellent prospects to ring up big numbers at ND. ND’s WR corps in 2023 was substandard. Collins would be an instant upgrade. He has improved in each of his three seasons with us.
I, for one, am very sorry that he left us.

Clemson 8-4, not ranked in AP poll
Notre Dame has a better record and is ranked higher. Therefore, they have been better recently.

I wish him well, he was a great guy & I believe he loved Clemson and gave his all. He was a great student who had an NIL deal.
He was motivated in marketing himself and making money, he has a great family too. We could keep him if we upped the $, I truly believe that’s why he has moved on too.
It would be nice if we don’t have better options in the portal to just give him a better $ deal to stay.
