Anybody been to Bermuda? Wife and I have never been, so I'm all ears on any recommendations on restaurants. Also, any must see or do stuff would be helpful. TIA!

Go Tigers AND stay well Clemson Nation!

I would go back to Bermuda in a heartbeat - really fun, “small town” island.

Get either a scooter or one of those mini cars to get around - it’s a ton of fun to explore back roads and jet to the MANY beautiful beaches. It’s left hand drive, but you’ll get the hang of it quickly.

Gotta head up north of Hamilton a few miles and get a fish sandwich on raisin bread from Art Mel’s Spicy Dicy - in the top 3 sandwiches I’ve ever put in my mouth. Jobson’s Cove is the coolest beach on the island.

People are very reminiscent of Southerners. They’re genuinely pleasant and genuinely want to help tourists with directions, etc. We were not haggled to buy trinkets at all the entire week we stayed there except when we traveled over to the cruise port end of the island.

Have fun!

I haven't been to Bermuda in 30 years, but it's beautiful. Wish I could remember the restaurants, but they are probably different today anyway. What I do remember is the pink sand beaches and everyone on the island using mopeds. We used them the whole week. Be sure to take lightweight jackets because it is cool there. The people are friendly, too; felt very safe. Have a great trip!

I heard food's pretty expensive there. I'd eat enough before leaving home to last a few days. You can also fill every void spot in your luggage and your jacket pockets with as many protein bars as will fit. Your wife will love your survival skill tactics as much as mine.

Yep, go light for bfast and lunch, adventure for the day, then enjoy downtown Hamilton for nice dinner spots.

Went there several times about 12 to 15 years ago on business so did not have much time to play tourist. Had several meals at "the Water Lot" and very good food and atmosphere (not sure if that was the name of the restaurant of the setting - a marina I think). Don't know if it's the same now.

Although going topless is not officially approved, but the beaches in the "elbow" area had very few people and very scenic both the coast line and topless sunbathers.
