More than Riley's offense or Wes's improved play calling. More than WRs getting separation and having big games.
More than our secondary growing up and being better against the pass.
All these are important but I want to see the OL's improvement.
I want to see running lanes and time for Cade.
The biggest take watching DJ playing lights out this weekend was the time he had to throw. He didn't have that at Clemson.

DJ had a lot of time and still had bad footwork and slow decision making. But yes, OL is the difference maker in whether we can contend for cfp championship.

I am not saying he is better than Cade, but he's not as bad as everyone says either.

Yes Sir. But I'm also excited to see cade when our oline gives him time. How much has he improved in the area of stepping up into the clean pocket and not bailing left or right too early. Designed scrambling is ok if we're setting a play... but not like last year. It's not a problem against most our comp, just the big games.

I agree with what you posted. I want to see crisp operations on both sides of the ball. I want to see our players look confident on every play. That deer in the headlights lion from DJ for the past 2 seasons made me uncomfortable EVERY game.
