Senile HC. No way he would be owning Slurrier and the golden age of coot football. This is the same guy that pulled Merriweather... Bowden did some good things but he isnt the coach Dabo is/will be.

There is a reason nobody has begged Bowden back into a job.

leader of young men than TB was. Dabo, as far as i'm concerned, will end up the best coach in Tiger history. I just have that gut feeling about the guy. Oh, and I go back all the way to Pell before someone thinks i'm some 2000's guy.

Agreed - our record as of late versus the Gaycocks

Says more about what the ######## has done for their program and less about what Dabo has done for ours. I hate to admit it and it pains me every day, but I can't deny the d-bag has turned their program into a legit contender. If TB was still our coach, he'd fare just the same against USuC, and with a worse overall record in the rest of our schedule (and no 10+ win seasons or ACC Championships).

still ranks as one of the biggest boneheaded coaching decisions in Clemson history followed closely by the decision to throw the ball 50 times against the 110th ranked rush defense in the Music City Bowl with Spiller and Davis at RB.

The ACC was a lot tougher conference during Tommy's tenure than Dabo's. Tommy was 2-1 against spurrier. Downplay it all you want. Doesn't change the facts.

Not to mention that the program is supposed to be leaps and bounds better now that Dabo's here.
If that were the case, then our better program should beat USC's supposedly improved program.

Not really. I think the ACC has sucked equally during both of their tenures.

This argument is dumb. I hear all the time about how Dabo has taken this program to new heights...and then those same people want to make excuses as to why we're losing to the coots.
If Dabo has indeed taken this program to a different level, we should theoretically be able to AT LEAST split the series against an improved USC ball club.
Give this one a rest. It's lame.

I didn't think it was humanly possible to find a coach that was a bigger dweeb that T. Bowden, but somehow you guys have managed it. Well done.

You are right. The logic doesn't hold: we haven't beaten the chickens because of Spurrier, but our coach is better.
We should have beaten them last year, but our defense couldn't stop their back-up quarterback. This year, our defense has improved. Our offense... not so much. We will have to play like we did against LSU and Georgia.
