I know it’s winter break and the Orange Bowl is tonight but there can’t be 200 people in the arena watching 11-3 vs 10-3 ACC game. Completely dead.

Said it for years.

Brad Brownell, Dan Radakovich killed Clemson basketball.

Nobody cares about the program and it shows. Brownell took over a sold out arena, making the tourney back to back to back years and ran that straight into the ground

It’s still a dad gum college basketball game between two P5 conference foes. He’s just reduced the base so much that we can’t get 1,000 folks in Littlejohn which used to be a pit for opposing teams to come to. I grew up a huge fan of Clemson and ACC basketball beginning around 1970. Never seen the passion lower. I think we could be something like 20-8 and he couldn’t get 8,000 in there. It is what it is.

Tip is at 4pm on a workday. A lot of people can't just take off to go to the game. You want a crowd, don't schedule it during the work day.
