bucket challenge

Aug 23, 2014, 10:16 AM

I thought the challenge was to pour ice water not just water. I have seen quite a few clips of different people doing this and there is no ice and they really do not act as if ice cold water was just poured on them. I'm not going to call out anyone on this but the one's faking it should be called out. Not much happening on a hot sat.

you could add ice to warm water an instant before you pour. either way I think it is more about the people wanting credit on social media.

Exactly. It's a trend and none of them had donated a cent.

You may think this "trend" is ridiculous, but in fact it has raised MILLIONS. So, it seems like a pretty brilliant and unique way to get celebrities and us common folk involved. Sorry some people are too cool for school.

To me, what's the point in dumping warm or cold water on yourself and not donate any $ for the cause. It would be better to get on camera and say you weren't gonna dump any water on yourself but donate $ instead. Like y'all said, for some people it's just a way to get attention for themselves.
