Today’s game is very physical in the pain, and I am often taken by the amount of contact by both offensive and defensive players in the paint. As such, I can’t or won’t single out Burns.

But what I have thought about him - having watched Charles Barkley in college, then seeing what he did as a pro - Burns reminds me a lot of ‘Sir Charles’ during his collegiate career.

Gut has great hand eye coordination and feel….last time I saw something like him was when I played golf with the late great Benny Parsons….man he could putt.
