Dabo just won his 8th conference title all I see is anger and vitriol towards our head coach for “lying” to the fans. Embarrassing. I’ve been on this board a long time and these last two weeks are as toxic as I’ve seen it.

Am I disappointed we didn’t make the playoff? Of course. I’ll be the first to tell you that Dabo’s pride was hurt and he was dead set on making a star out of DJ to prove doubters wrong. That didn’t work out and he finally had no choice but to make the change and I’m glad he did. But the amount of fans here that seem to think Dabo owes them a trip to the playoff? Lmao what? He doesn’t owe y’all anything.

So quit crying in your cornflakes, put your pitchforks away and just try to enjoy the beat down we put on the Heels last night. ✌️

I for one am not angry, and don't know the definition of vitriol. Heck I don't even think Dabo" lied" but I am frustrated by his decision to stick with DJ the entire second half of the South Carolina game.
I know he wanted to give DJ all the chances possible, but he hurt the team, IMO, by not putting Cade in for at least one series against South Carolina. Team first, always.
I will not go so far as to say that decision cost us a chance to play in the CFP's but with what happened yesterday we would have definitely been in the hunt.
Still he made the right choice by sitting DJ and while I think a lot of us feel for him, Todd Blackledge pointed out what benching DJ did for his confidence. It is frankly my opinion that DJ lost his confidence maybe as far back as last season, and maybe even tried too hard to regain it this year, but I just never saw anything in his technics that thought he could win any title.
