have so many different shooters looking so good in a game.
Hope it's not an aberration and the only get better as the season progresses.

that has this much offensive firepower since the '80 team that went to the Final Eight and lost to UCLA with Nance, Billy Williams, and the boys. We've got about 4 guys on the court at all times who can get to the hole and/or drain it from the perimeter. They've obviously spent a lot of time at the FT line also....Thank goodness.

and keep this defensive intensity up in the dog days of ACC play. Young team has got to stay focused and accountable to each other. BB will be all over that, i'm sure.

I know its early but your PG must be able to hit FT's and Rod is doing just that.

and drains FT's....puts knives in the other teams chests. He's obviously done work. A LOT of work.

Larry Nance, Billy Williams, Big John, Bobby Conrad, Horace Wyatt were the starting five if my old mind ain't going bad. I remember Nance getting hacked like crazy and no calls. Larry Nance is the best player i've seen in my life time in the Clemson uniform. Goodness what a hell of a basketball player on both ends of the court and such a class act.

getting ready to drive back to Denver to catch a flight back to SC. I was bent out of shape the whole way back. Williams was killing them that game.

and offensive explosion like Billy Williams. Cannot believe he didn't stick in the NBA. Conrad was the general, Big John clogged the lane and played hard D, Wyatt rebounded and played hellacious D, and Larry played like an NBA All-Star as a Junior and Senior. Got to be the best team in Clemson history. I was sick to my stomach that night after that game.

Frederick clean on a double team in '80, took it the length of the floor, took off from the dotted lines and did a tomahawk cuff job that about brought the whole basket structure down. That team was loaded to the gills.
