CJ Spiller...

I've been very critical of our coaching staff this year with it's inexperience but kudos to CJ Spiller. He has the one position group that showed steady progress from beginning to end. I love the way I running backs have developed this season. I think I'll just shut up and let Dabo run this team ????

As a position group - this is the best our RB's have

looked in the Swinney era. They all run with purpose, hit the hole full speed and don't try to dance around and bounce everything outside. Just need to recruit a few more studs to give us some depth but Shipley, Pace, and Mafah are all top notch running backs.

I love the way Shipley follows blockers. He waits on the block to develop and I have not seen that at Clemson since James Davis left.

You you were part of the idiotic legion of fans who wanted to fire coaches because of early struggles? Geez….hopefully you learned a lesson so the next time we struggle you will make better choices and show some patience?

No I never wanted to fire coaches. I wanted to hire more experienced coaches to start with. Since we already got them I'm just hoping they continually improve. You'll never find a thread where I said to fire a coach. So I now hope you learn your lesson and don't say things that you don't know to be true. Have a great day.

So to hire an experienced coach there must be an opening…

Agree. I remember thinking that last night. RBs are the one bright spot on the offense, QB play sure hasn't improved over the course of the whole season.

The o-line played their best game of the season. Although, DJU couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn, he had time. Run blocking was as good as I’ve seen in a long time, as well.

Our receivers could have helped DJ by playing better. IMHO our receivers should have made catches by high pointing rather than waiting for the ball to land in their arms. They are young so hoping they will improve on that. Also surprised that Davis Allen did not having any catches. Not sure if he was targeted. He may be our best receiver.
