Clemson amazes me

When I entered Clemson many, many years ago It was a small all mens college primarily focused in textiles, agriculture and engineering . What an amazing growth that my school that I adore and support has encountered in a relatively short time. The difference is night and day. Today Clemson sits among the elite especially in southern universities.
I remember hearing about iptay when I was a very small lad. As you know, it began with primarily farmers and textile workers granting ten dollars a year to help the athletic department to grow and prosper. Now that group of supporters just donated $135,000,000 for the past year to help ALL of us fans to have quality teams to love and support. To be a fan of Clemson is something anyone in the world can become. It takes a special guy to jump on the train and help with the ride to success.

Yeah, why not donate equally to the Alumni Association to support academics?

The first home game I attended back in 1962, and the difference in Death Valley back then to today is totally unbelievable. There is nothing in or around the stadium that resembles what it looked like way back then!!!

The kind reply’s. Most of you realize what an honor it is to be called a Clemson man. That term has been around forever and I hope it never goes away. So, from one Clemson man to another I say GO TIGERS. See you in Durham
