If they could get out of the GOR, both would have been gone by now, they will stay in the ACC unless the GOR fees are waived or reduced.

Not only that, if they happen to guess right, they will point to it and claim they were first to break the story. If they guess wrong, it will never be mentioned.

Correct. They are like the weathermen on TV. They can be wrong 90% of the time as long as they get the hurricane right. We use to have a weatherman in Houston who would put up the same forecast everyday in August. 95-75 20% chance.........and leave it there. He was right virtually every day. Old Ed Brandon was a hoot on channel 13 Houston. I played in his charity golf tournament every year. He has since passed and I am sure he is still giving the same daily forecast in heaven, High 95, Low 75, 20% chance of showers.

Dude, what you just read is not news, but more, like you said, conjecture and opinionating. Meanwhile, small town community newspapers are still busting ###, despite endless layoffs and budget cuts, to provide residents with local content that affects their lives.

the ACC and ESPN for a Fox-funded entry into the B1G. How much will the ACC games be worth without Clemson and FSU? How much will the ESPN ACC Network be worth? And what will be the benefit to Fox, CBS and NBC if they damage ESPN and ABC college football and advertising sponsorship?

I believe both conference have contacted both FSU and Clemson. Some maroon started a rumor that The SEC and B1G didn't want two school in the same state. That ignores that the SEC signed Texas with AnM already being a member and the B1G signing both UCLA and USCw.
Clemson and FSU are true Blue Bloods with multi national championships, huge TV audiences and being much more to any conference than either will earn.

Wow, an article on how FSU and Clemson are attractive candidates for the SEC or B1G. What great investigative reporting that took.
I think I'm more interested in hearing an update from the ACC discussions and frustrated that we are getting nothing at this point. Even if they haven't come to any conclusions it would be nice to at least here about the timing and process they are following.

I did read, I think it was on ESPN, that the SEC commissioner did say in the last couple of days that the realignment of the conferences wasn't over.
