The same could be said for the Clemson vs NC State game.
If you look at the typical numbers, there aren't millions wanting to tune in each week to watch NC State.
Clemson was the draw in that game.

Also, more tune in when the Tigers are on the ropes, like at Wake. Love to disappoint the haters with a late win. I'd say bama and Clemson are the two teams that the nation turns to when one of them is losing. As for all the bama watchers last week....I guess that 3:30 cbs spot is so popular. You would think the color commentator (Danielson??) would lose a few million watchers.

People sure weren't tuning in to see the wolfpack. Clemson games are a rating bonanza...which is why when the dust settles with CFP expansion we'll be fine.
