PJ Hall on ACC Tourney failure: There is no explanation. Wasn't the coaches...We had to own up to that. It's frustrating but you come back, reflect and you learn from it...We're going at it (in practice). We're ready.

Brownell: Great day for Clemson basketball…reward for a lot of hard work. Last year at this time was heartbreaking…I’m grateful for this year’s team and how they played this year.

Brownell: Looking forward to playing a very good New Mexico team…They’re playing with great confidence. They have terrific guards. It should be a great game. It’s funny we’re going back to Memphis. Again, I’m just really happy for our players. This is a nice reward for them.

Brownell: I really got into our guys. I was more than disappointed at what happened at the ACC Tourney. We’ve had very good, competitive practices. Had Ian and PJ consistently for practices lately. Had them for before BC top and we just didn’t play well.

Brownell on New Mexico: What they’re doing is working. You know they’re feeling really good about themselves…I think it’s good for us to remind ourselves of when we played good basketball, because we did that a lot this year. Got the 6-seed for a reason.

Brownell says it’s about the players at the time of year. Got to enjoy it. Your best players have to play well.
