Clemson Pitcher Hangs up His Spikes

Nov 12, 2013, 9:21 PM

According to his Facebook page, Clemson left-handed pitcher Kyle Bailey has decided to give up baseball. He was having a difficult time coming back from an injury (he redshirted last season) and I guess saw the handwriting on the wall. It's too bad, because 6'5" 240 lb lefties don't come along every day. Kyle says he'll be studying in France next semester. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

Always hate to see one of our Tiger family get hurt, but the important thing is to go on in life. There are much more important things than sports. Sounds like the young man has a plan. Best of luck to him in the future.
