Clemson's OL is NOT Division 1 Quality

and hasn't been for several decades now. The only way to win with this type of OL is to have a generational QB like Trevor Lawrence. Even the fan bases doesn't realize this.

Our OL is comparable to D1 teams like Ga Southern or Toledo. They just aren’t a good D1 line. I’ve never understood why we insist on playing with a bad offensive line year after year. But we got away with it because of superstar skill players. Maybe the coaches thought they had come up with a revolutionary scheme that requires no OL, but really they were just being bailed out by freakish players.

I wish somebody could convince Dabo to use the portal for that group. Get fully grown, fully swole up experienced proven OL guys who want a free year of grad school. An all conference guy from even the MAC or SunBelt would likely be better than what we’ve got. Sure, it’s one and done, but they’d be getting a Masters or at least half of a Masters. I don’t see how grad school is sinful.
