Which player did you hate we missed out on? And don't give me the BS on Clowney and Nkemdiche bc at the time we all wanted both players before they chose their schools.

I wanted Gurley more because we hadn't had that ultimate power back yet.
Nkemdiche was just one weird situation. We had him then he was gone.

Add on Vic Beasley, and then Shaq and Nkemdiche would have one year of terror together. Boyd, Ellington, Watkins, Nuk, Gurley etc... Just think about that, We would've been unbeatable if we had all 3, seriously.
But I remember that Nkemdiche situation like it was yesterday. I was sitting in my truck listening to Philpot break the news of him decommiting, I was so pissed that I quit cutting grass for the day.

Without the gift of hindsight, it was Clowney, Clemson was in on him until the end. A lot of people were higher on Marshall and Nkemdiche's recruitment had red flags early on.

I almost cried when we lost Gurley. Clowney i was sure was coming to us and I went into denial afterwards but yea, kinda wish we'd gotten him.

Clowney was lazy in HS and rarely hustled. It showed up after his Soph year in College. I never bought into the hype. I didn't care for Silent K's Mama.

Gurley...easily. We knew the other two weren't coming and, for me, didn't want the accompanying drama. Gurley...thought for (almost) certain he was a Tiger.

Then specify your question. Which one do I hate we missed out on the time of recruiting or knowing what we know now?
With that said...Gurley...any day of the week and twice on Sunday. With him, Marshall, Sammy, Nuke, and Tahj...we would have won a title.
