Thoughts?

I listened to an interview today (mainly to see if Clowney really was as I perceived, since he is a coot). I was under-impressed with him, just as I figured. Conner Shaw did a much better job with his part of the interview, but he's still no TB when it comes to handling the media. I wasn't expecting much better. At least Shaw said he was interested in the military, so I cut him a little lack because of his purported patriotism.

Yep among other things. He's got a lot to back up now but the scary thing is he's probably got the talent to do it.

If Superman were a QB he would be scared if he knew his O'line couldn't block worth a ####. That's the problem for your guy. Boyd is a good QB, but has no help when faced with a great D'line.

Boyd took major punishment for 4 qtrs against LSU
Jul 16, 2013, 10:40 PM
|
|
... from a defense loaded with draft picks and he never wavered or flinched. Boyd was so scared of Montgomery and Mingo and Reid that he carved out their hearts as they gasped for air and kissed the turf. Mr 'Clowney` is aptly named...

The thing Clowney's afraid of is a spelling test with the word BCS on it. Never heard that word before.

to lose. He said he scares our QB and others...he said he will not lose to Clemson while at Sackerlina. This dude does a lot of talking , its up to our OL and Tajh to show the rest of America that he is just a football player who runs his mouth ...and nothing more. Go TIGERS

Um... when has a starter ever called for a backup vs him?
Jul 17, 2013, 1:50 AM
|
|
I'm sorry but I can't seem to recall him EVER knocking someone out of a game. They all got right back up. And I have never once seen an opposing QB signal to the sideline that they'd like to be taken out because they were scared. If anything, I've seen players ask their OL to step up and actually do their assignment.
Hey you hit some no name RB from Michigan while not being blocked. Congrats. Way to beat up a soft big12 team. And you didn't exactly crush em in that game! Thats your legacy? Sorry but Taylor Lewan owned him during that game. And on that play a soft TE didn't get there in time. Wow, you beat a TE. That TE ain't going to the league bro. Lewan is. But how did you do against Lewan? He actually graded out quite well in that game.
Fact is, jerkClown doesn't do so well when matched up against decent offensive tackles. Thats a fact. He disappeared against LSwho and Florida. He is so good that he led them to victory in those games. Right? Oh wait....
And hes so good that he led them to a conf championship. Right?
And hes obviously a team player because hes never gotten into it with his DC. Right? Oh wait.....
Enjoy playing for the Oakland Raiders, thug. How do you think your gonna fair against a good LT blocking for Peyton Mannings blind side. Don't know if hes noticed but RaiderNation will turn on you faster than the NAACP does on juries that they don't agree with.

Players know when they are inside your head. Boyd was rattled early and it showed. Hey. I wouldn't want to face Freddy Kruger in my dreams. It's a no win. So once an elite player imposes his will on you. You wilt like a plant with no water.

What a joke. When has anyone EVER won a gold medal or championship by wanting to play inferior competition? Top notch athletes want to play against the best. They don't back down! Nobody who is scared has ever amounted to anything.
You gotta rise up and play up to your competition. Nobody is scared. Thats how you find out what your made of. Did Tajh look scared against that NFL front vs LSU? Thats how you get noticed. Do you think anyone ever told Doug Flutie that he'd amount to being a great QB outa HS being that short? The scouts were clearly wrong about Drew Brees and he has a ring.
Folks who are scared don't play past a JV level. You might be fella. But your not a player. We're not analyzing your situation. Clearly Tajh is beyond that and is headed to the league. You can be scared all you want. Tajh isn't. Don't compare your fears to Tajh's. Hes a tough S.O.B. He didn't wave to the sideline for someone else to come in during last seasons game whereas you probably would've.
OBVIOUSLY Tyler Wilson wasn't scared either. Does he seem so scared to play in the NFL? Cause he got drafted and didn't turn down a contract because he was scared of people.
Keep your fears to yourself. And Nancy, don't involve yourself in comparison to a conversation that speaks of ''Tajh being scared.'' Not every person on this planet is soft.
Thank god our armed forces don't have your outlook. We're all blessed to have MEN who aren't afraid look out for the best interest in our country.

I agree with some points BUT if you want to be an elite player at the next level, you can't get unjured buy some guy with an ego that seems to grow by the minute.
