Coach Brownell NCAAT presser video...

Watch this at link below.
Coach Brownell looked nervous. Can't imagine why knowing he is firmly in position as HC after the season since made the NCAAT?
At 3:35 mark he was asked even though had a tough bad loss to BC have 9 days to rest amd he answered hope they handle that well?
Also kept on saying getting to the NCAAT was hard.
Interesting that he said that this team is not made up well to get behind and come back in games.

Interesting also said he still didn't know what happened in BC loss... bad answer when watched game film by now...
And said this team doesn't take tough coaching too well...
Just bad comments and answers...

Again, never saw him look this deflating after making the NCAAT. Any reason after watching you think why?

Like he said, I think this speaks to what kind of generation he's dealing with. I've heard several coaches make similar comments as well.
Most of us come from generations where our leaders, coaches, peers, etc., could give us cold hard reality checks and cuss us out and, though we may have not liked it, that's the way it was. We dealt with it.
You're dealing with a generation now, for example- where kids from major D1 schools are sitting out games because the equipment manager didn't bring the proper leggings on a road game. In today's world, a kid can transfer at any moment for any reason. I won't get into all the social-political stuff or psychology of it all but most of us know what these 19 year old kids are like nowadays.

Definitely doesn’t inspire confidence. Expectations are super low for this game. Fully expect to exit first round. He should be let go if that happens. He just seems defeated.

Thats why just don't understand if that miserable go look for a fresh start even have to get a job in maybe a bit smaller place in one of the top mid major jobs like in American Conference.

AS I CONTINUE TO SAY IT IS MIND BOGGLING THAT WE HAVE PEOPLE WHO HATE OUR COACHES, PLAYERS AND PROGRAM AND WILL BE GLAD WHEN THEY LOSE. VERY SAD. SHOULD NOT SURPRISE THOUGH. WE ALSO HAVE PEOPLE THAT WOULD RATHER HAVE HIGH GAS AND FOOD PRICES, OPEN BORDERS AND BEING ON THE BRINK OF WWIII BECAUSE OF THEIR HATE FOR A GUY THAT HAD OUR COUNTRY IN THE BEST SHAPE EVER.

Maybe he, more than his pumpers on here, realize that he’s been shoveling sh*t for a decade and a half and really isn’t built for this level. Probably a pretty tough realization to come to. No one wants to accept their ceiling and most people avoid it by never trying anything meaningful. He’s is not a stupid person and he’s not a cartoon super villain. He has to realize that this, right now, is probably as good as it is ever going to get for him from a prestige standpoint as a basketball coach. And even Cobbox threw him under the bus on Twitter after the BC game. He’s got one of the most experienced teams he’s ever coached and he admits he doesn’t know how to motivate them. He is losing the unwavering support of some of the diehards. That’s all got to suck, tourney or not.

He the 173rd best coach inAmerica (more less - it was a lot of counting) over his tenure when he has a rest advantage. Why would he possibly be worried?

more relieved. We don't play catch up well because we are not a pressure defense team that forces mistakes. We've never been that under Brad.

determined to wear just about any color other than Clemson Orange, as often as he possibly can. Now, he did wear Orange for the BC debacle last time out, so maybe he figures its a jinx.
