After reading the hundreds of posts about CBB being so horrible, is any of the problem with players?
* CBB didn't wear #1 and go 0-10
* CBB didn't don #24 and get 1 reb
* CBB didn't miss 35 shots.
If this is CBB's best team ever then there is the explanation for 14 yrs of average. Hall is the only player that would start for the top 4 seeds in the ACCT. Maybe Scheff. I wonder who their other offers were from. 21-11 is probably a B- for this team.
He's a terrible recruiter. But every trip down the court that results in no points or a TO is not on the coach. Maybe Neff is asking but no bites. A new head would be great, but he's got to be the real deal, not just someone that had a good year in the AAC or MEAC.
And why is the greatest new coach in D1 getting his ### handed to him today against Auburn? Players look ok.

Dean Smith, Roy Williams, Coach K, just to name a few of the great ones, were not responsible for the teams success?

Absolutely it's huge, but it's not 95%. Watch most coaches when teams are on their game. Other than giving rest they're just making mental notes and planning ahead. When Worthy, Perkins and Jordan were on, just get the #### out of the way.

Tarholes and duke like Alabama in football. They can sign or buy the best players in basketball no matter the coach.

Not at all. But what I see is CBB getting zero credit for 21 wins and 100% credit for 11 losses.

Coaches recruit the players…any way you slice it, it comes down to the head coach.

Over the last 14 years we've seen many many players come and go.
The one constant over the last decade and a half is Brownell.
Same results year after year, player after player, team after team.
