He says that "maybe 70 or 80% of the players you talk to" wanted to know about their playing time for the upcoming season and how much they would be making in NIL money.

It was historically corrupt.

Exploitation if the athletes to make millions for the schools, conferences, and the NCAA while the athletes couldn't accept a free cheese burger.

Under the table payments.
No show "jobs".
No show classes.
Free houses and cars for mom and dad.

Blatant violations of federal antitrust law.

Now things are open, above board, and compliant with federal law.

Your claim is the polar opposite if the facts.
