Once the game became a cash cow and those involved got a taste of that money, it was all over. As long as the cash keeps rolling in, it will only get worse. It may get to the point that it prices the fans out of the stadiums, but tv/streaming revenue will cover it.

As for me, the best thing I can do is to not concern myself with all the crap that is ruining it and just watch the game and try to enjoy it and let someone else worry about it. I can only do my part by not monetarily supporting it. I suppose that is about all the avg. fan can do.

Sorry you missed the point of another great season that just ended. The game is the same great game if you would forget about where players come from and just watch the games. You can't change anything so just accept it.

I wouldn't worry. What you're talking about will take years if not decades. Football is king and people will just keep watching and paying. At one point, if it people realized their not really cheering for them school but are cheering for paid athletes the numbers may start to dwindle, but it will never go away
