Conference champions?

Does anyone still think winning your conference needs to be a requirement?

TCU lost to Kansas State in the conference championship game

Ohio State lost to Michigan.

Tennessee didn't make the conference championship.

All appear to be better than conference champions.

Although TCU lost to K-State in their CCG, they had already beaten K-State in the regular season!
