So Bama, the Coots, Auburn, etc. are getting 50 million a year for being in the SEC and Clemson, UNC, Wake Forest, are getting 35 million per year (not sure of exact amounts but that's not my point). The SEC is getting 700 million total for their member schools. So, if Clemson and FSU join, all of a sudden their benefactor, say their media rights which probably account for 75% of the revenue distribution, has to come up with another 75 million because two new schools are in the conference?

Well I’d say yes. Could you imagine the Coots, Vandy, Miss State, ARkansas, Mizzu, etc getting paid more than FSU and Clemson?

Yes because the benefactor is getting a lot of value (revenue) for the additional teams.

It made me curious when I heard this morning that Oregon and Washington were only going to get about half of what the other Big10 teams were. Did I heard that correctly?

They were originally getting half. BIG increased it to 2/3 until they renegotiate in 2030. They will receive full shares at that point.

It's not what you do but what you know and always has been in business, medicine and NCAA conferences. We got $40 million last year from TV and about $100 million more from IPTAY, major gifts etc and I believe we can live with that until something happens.
