Congratulations 2022 Clemson Tiger Football Team

I am an older Clemson Graduate.
I remember when we ruled the ACC in college football.
I remember when Florida State joined the ACC.
I remember legendary coach Bobby Bowden.
I remember when Florida State seemed like they would win every week.
I remember when they ran roughshod over all the ACC teams at their home stadium.
I remember when I wondered if they would EVER lose another home game. They seemed invincible!

Saturday, Clemson began the day tied with Florida State for the most consecutive home wins in conference history. The Seminoles were equally as hard to beat inside Doak Campbell Stadium during the peak of the Bobby Bowden era from 1992-2001 when they won 37 games in a row there. Saturday morning, it had been 2170 days since our Clemson Tigers had lost a home football game! It definitely hasn't been easy! Some games, the Tigers beat the brakes out of their opponent, and a few games the Tigers snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Many games they were dominant, some games they were pedestrian, and a few they were lucky! Thank goodness, games like Saturday's Syracuse game were few and far between.

But, Saturday, our Clemson Tigers won their 38th home game in a row! That is extraordinary! I hope the streak continues for a long, long time. I also appreciate ALL the players and coaches that fought so hard, giving it their all to make the streak possible. There have been a lot that have come and gone during this long period.

Thanks so much for Coach Dabo Swinney's leadership and consistency during this time. Never take anything for granted because it can go away in an instant, and cherish each and every win!
