than it used to be, it doesn't surprise me that all of these interviews and visits to ESPN can be a distraction.
These aren't professional athletes, they should not be paraded around like that especially if they aren't be compensated. If we are going to say they are amateurs, then let's not treat them like they are well paid professionals.

That's not what I mean. Professional athletes are being paid handsomely for their time (not by espn of course) and don't have school obligations to go with football.
Imagine not only having a full school workload and football practice but also having to attend all the media bs.
It's a ton of work for a super slim chance of making money at it. Let them profit off their name now, the school does not have to pay players but they shouldn't be able to restrict them from selling their name on jersey's, signatures, etc...
